1969 World Bobsleigh Championship
The 26th World Bobsleigh Championship was held in Lake Placid , United States , in 1969 . Lake Placid hosted the World Cup for the third time. The Italian bobsleigh with Nevio De Zordo and Adriano Frassinelli became world champion in the two-man competition. Four-man world champion was Bob Germany II, driven by Wolfgang Zimmerer .
