Bauernheim Castle

The castle builders Home is an Outbound castle in the hallways behind the old castle and the young garden on the western edge of Bauer home , a district of Friedberg in Wetteraukreis in Hesse .

The castle was built in the 11th and 12th centuries. By whom and when the castle, which was probably built to secure a ford through the weather , is not known. The lords of Falkenstein and, from 1461, the Counts of Solms are named as the owners of the place as the Münzenberg heritage .

Nothing has survived from the former castle , which was probably built as a stone house with a moat or as an early tower castle similar to that in Eschborn im Taunus . It is not clear whether there are points of contact with the property of the later lords of Isenburg-Büdingen , which was designated as Fronhof in 1268 .
