The Campeonato Sudamericano of 1941 was the 16th edition of the South American continental football championship and took place for the third time in Chile from February 2nd to March 4th. Bolivia , Brazil , Colombia and Paraguay did not participate.

The tournament was played as before in the league system (everyone against everyone). If there was a tie in first place, a playoff was planned. All games were played in the Estadio Nacional de Chile in Santiago.

Argentina became South American football champions for the sixth time.
