Christoph Letkowski (2012)

Christoph Letkowski (born June 16, 1982 in Halle ) is a German actor and musician .

Life

Education and theater

Letkowski grew up in Groß Börnecke . After High School on school Egeln he did his military service from. He then completed an acting training from 2002 to 2006 at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig .

In 2004 he played the role of John Fryer in a stage version of the mutiny on the Bounty in a theater production at his college . He completed his main studies from 2004 to 2006 at the drama studio of the Leipzig University, which is affiliated with the Chemnitz Theater , where he participated in other theater performances. Among other things, he appeared in a stage version of the film Sonnenallee in 2004, in 2005 he played Sacco in Schiller's The Fiesco Conspiracy in Genoa and Bergetto in Schade den Sie ist ein Whore by John Ford . From 2006 to 2008 Letkowski had a permanent engagement as a theater actor at the GRIPS Theater in Berlin . There he appeared in the musical Line 1, among others . He also played there the Sven in the play one on the face of Rainer Hachfeld that John in Brave New World , a musical by Volker Ludwig and Achim Gieseler based on the novel by Aldous Huxley , and Rico in the play Cengiz & Locke after the novel by Zoran Drvenkar . From 2006, Letkowski was regularly seen in film and television productions. For a few episodes he played briefly in the RTL series Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten in 2008 . In July 2016, he took on the lead role in the music video for the piece Breathe deeply from the album Labyrinth by Kontra K.

Letkowski also works as a director in the music field. He directed the music video for gasoline and potato chips , the third single from the hit album Me vs. we from the German band Kettcar . In 2018 Letkowski also directed the music video for the song Nobody Like You from the punk band Feine Sahne Fischfilet ; the video in which u. a. Anna Thalbach , Nellie Thalbach , Max Gertsch and Jörg Westphal contributed, was officially published in June 2018.
