Dan Krauss

Dan Krauss (* 1972 ) is an American film director , cameraman and film producer in the field of documentary films .

Career

Dan Krauss studied journalism and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley . Dan Krauss first work The Death of Kevin Carter: Casualty of the Bang Bang Club was at the Oscars 2006 in the category Best Short Documentary nominated. He was responsible as a cameraman, film producer and director. This was followed by other documentaries such as The Most Dangerous Man in America - Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers (2009), The Kill Team and OJ Simpson: Made in America in which Krauss was involved.

Krauss received his second Oscar nomination at the 2017 Academy Awards for his work Extremis .
