The Davidoff Swiss Indoors Basel 2003 was a tennis tournament that took place from October 20th to 26th, 2003 in Basel . It was part of the ATP Tour 2003 and was played indoors on carpet. The venue for the tournament was the St. Jakobshalle , which is located just behind the Basel city limits in Münchenstein .

Defending champion in singles was David Nalbandian , who made it to the final again this year. Due to an injury to his left wrist, however, he had to give forfait for the final. His compatriot Guillermo Coria thus crowned himself without having to compete with his fifth title this year. In doubles, the brothers Bob and Mike Bryan were the defending champions. They competed in top position, but were eliminated in the first round. Mark Knowles and Daniel Nestor won this year's final against Lucas Arnold Ker and Mariano Hood in straight sets 6: 4 and 6: 2.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.
