The German Bowl is the final of the German Football League (GFL) for the title of German Champion in American football . The German Bowls I to III were organized under the umbrella of the American Football Bund Deutschland (AFBD). The American Football Association Germany (AFVD) has hosted the event since the German Bowl IV .

The New York Lions team from Braunschweig is the record winner with twelve titles . The Braunschweig team are also the team with the most finals (18).
