The Handball-Bundesliga 2007/08 (full name after the main sponsor Toyota Handball-Bundesliga 2007/08 ) was the 30th of the single-track seasons and the 42nd season of the highest German division in men's handball in the history of the Bundesliga . The season began on August 25, 2007 and ended with the last game day on May 17, 2008.

18 teams played for the German championship. The first in the table on the last day of the match is German champions 2008. The Füchse Berlin and TUSEM Essen were promoted to the new season . In addition, the DHB Cup was played for the 34th time.

The German champion in 2008 was the THW Kiel team for the 14th time in the club's history .

Broadcast on television

The TV broadcaster DSF broadcast a total of 22 league games this season live, including one game on the 33rd and 34th matchday. The live games usually took place either on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. On www.hbl.tv beamed Sportdigital.tv also on each day on which was played a game live is payable by live stream from.

In August 2007, the public broadcasters WDR and NDR launched a joint weekly magazine entitled Liga 1 - Die Handball-Bundesliga , which was broadcast on Saturdays at 5 p.m. on NDR and WDR television , and thus practically nationwide via cable and satellite could be received.

DHB Cup

The team from THW Kiel won the 2007/08 DHB Cup . She defeated the HSV Hamburg team 32:29 (17:18) in the final on March 30, 2008 in the Color Line Arena in Hamburg in front of 12,800 spectators .
