Jason McCourty (* 13. August 1987 in Nyack , New York ) is an American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for the New England Patriots as cornerback . Previously, he was with the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns for several years .
college
McCourty attended Rutgers University and played college football for their team, the Scarlet Knights, between 2005 and 2009 . In 48 games he achieved a total of 150 tackles , two interceptions and one touchdown . Teammate was his twin brother Devin , who in since 2010. New England Patriots as a safety play.
NFL
Tennessee Titans
McCourty was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the 6th round of the 2009 NFL Draft as a 203rd overall. In March 2018 he was signed by the New England Patriots . The Browns swapped him and a seven-round pick for a six-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft . He plays on the same team as his twin brother Devin McCourty . He scored 70 tackles and one interception. On March 13, 2019, the Patriots extended his contract for two years.
