Karina (singer)
Karina (actually: María Isabel Bárbara Llaudés Santiago; born December 4, 1943 in Jaén , Andalusia ) is a Spanish pop singer .
Karina's music career began in 1961; she became known as a performer in a commercial and through an appearance at the music festival in Benidorm . She received a record deal and had her appearances mainly in the 1960s and 1970s, she also sang and played in some musical comedies. She was selected to represent Spain at the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin . With the hit En un mundo nuevo she reached second place.
