  • Friedrich von Bassermann-Jordan (1872–1959), viticulture historian
  • October 28, 1952: Joseph Wendel (1901–1960), Bishop of Speyer, later Archbishop of Munich and Freising, was made an honorary citizen after he had consecrated the Michaelskapelle . The Kardinal-Wendel-Straße in Deidesheim is named after him.
  • September 14, 1956: Heinrich Hartz (1886–1965), parish priest of Deidesheim and papal secret chamberlain, was made an honorary citizen of Deidesheim on his 70th birthday. The Prälat-Hartz-Straße in Deidesheim is named after him.
  • May 28, 1960: Hanns Haberer (1890–1967), Minister of Economics and Finance in Rhineland-Palatinate, was made an honorary citizen of Deidesheim on his 70th birthday.

  • Theo Becker (1927-2006), oenologist, headed the teaching and experimental farm in the former Tiemann winery.
  • Ludwig Boslet (1860–1951) was a local teacher from time to time.
  • Franz Anton Christoph Buhl (1779–1844), member of the Second Chamber of the Baden Estates Assembly, ran a winery in Deidesheim.
  • Franz Armand Buhl (1837-1896), Vice-President of the Reichstag, member of the Chamber of Imperial Councils and the Chamber of Deputies of Bavaria, was a member of the Deidesheim Reading Society.
  • Franz Peter Buhl (1809–1862), member of the Second Chamber of the Baden Estates Assembly and the Chamber of Deputies of Bavaria, founded the Reichsrat von Buhl winery.
