After five years, the attacker left Norway at the beginning of the 2002/03 season for the United States , where he joined the Laredo Bucks from the Central Hockey League . Just one year later, the Norwegian tried his luck in the ECHL at Toledo Storm , where he scored 21 goals in 62 games and prepared 30 more goals.
