The 1986 Pontins Professional was a snooker tournament for the 1985/86 season . It was held in May after the World Cup at Pontins' holiday resort in Prestatyn on the north coast of Wales.

Last year's winner Terry Griffiths reached the final again and met the 1984 winner Willie Thorne . Griffiths won 9-6 and took the title for the third time in this tournament. Only his compatriot Welsh Ray Reardon had won more often.
