Rita Nikolajewna Achkina ( Russian Рита Николаевна Ачкина ; born February 1, 1938 in Mogiljow ) is a former Soviet cross-country skier .

Career

Atschkina, who competed for CSKA Moscow , finished tenth over 10 km at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck . The following year she finished second over 10 km at the Lahti Ski Games . and Soviet champion over 5 km, over 10 km and with the relay. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 1966 , she won the bronze medal over 5 km and the gold medal with the relay. Two years later, in her last international appearance at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, she took sixth place over 5 km and won the bronze medal with the relay.
