The Slovak national women's football team represents Slovakia in international women's football . The national team is subordinate to the Slovak Football Association and is coached by Peter Kopúň . The Slovak selection is one of the below average teams in terms of sport and has not yet qualified for a major tournament. FIFA lists the matches of Czechoslovakia, which played 28 matches between 1986 and 1992, in both the statistics of Slovakia and the statistics of the Czech Republic. After the separation, both teams played their first two games against each other. The 0:17 against Norway on September 19, 1995 is one of the biggest defeats for a European team.

In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup , the team met Norway , the Netherlands , Belarus and Macedonia . Two wins against Macedonia faced six defeats against the other three teams, so that only the penultimate place was reached.

In qualifying for the European Championship 2013 , the team met Finland , Ukraine , and again Belarus and Estonia . Two wins against Estonia and one win against Belarus were set against a draw and four defeats against the other teams, so that only the penultimate place was reached again.

In the FIFA world rankings, the Slovaks have fluctuated between 34th place in December 2006 and 47th place in recent years.
