history

Lt. According to a plan dated April 1, 1913, a "Bräucken station" for the railroad was to be built at today's main traffic junction, Bräucken. To this day, this area of Lüdenscheid has never been opened up by the railroad. At that time, the area around today's Bräuckenkreuz was almost completely undeveloped. On the map from this time you can still clearly see the former rural character of the area.
