The 2008 Superleague Formula season was the first Superleague Formula season . The season consisted of six racing weekends. It began on August 31, 2008 at Donington Park and ended on November 23, 2008 at the Circuito de Jerez . Beijing Guoan won the championship with Davide Rigon as driver. Zakspeed looked after the winning team.

Starting field

All teams used Panoz chassis, Menard engines and Michelin tires.

There were six racing weekends in 2008. There were two races on each race weekend. The starting grid for the first race was determined by qualifying. The starting line-up for the second race resulted from the reversed result of the first race.
