The TSV Buchbach is a multi-division club from the Upper Bavarian market Buchenbach . In addition to a gymnastics department and the nationally successful soccer department, the club also offers skiing, ice stock sport and tennis. In addition, the Prinzengarde Bubaria is affiliated with the association.

history

The club was founded in 1913 as a gymnastics club. Schoolchildren who attended boarding schools in Munich brought football to the village from the state capital in the late 1920s. Simple meadows and friendly games against the teams from the neighboring towns of Velden , Taufkirchen , Dorfen and Ampfing served as the first playing fields . Finally, on January 11, 1930 - despite resistance from the gymnasts - a football department was set up on TV Buchbach.

The club remained inferior until the 1990s. Only with the entry of a financially strong sponsor did the first successes emerge. From 1995 to 2004 the club rose from the lowest division to the second highest Bavarian amateur league. At the beginning of this athletic ascent, there was a German record. Between August 19, 1995 and May 23, 1998, the team remained unbeaten in 75 league games. This record was only surpassed in 2006 by TSV Stahl Riesa with 78 games without defeat. After four seasons in the regional league, he was promoted to the Bayern league in 2008 . In the following year, 2009, relegation in the Bayern League was secured just a few game days before the end of the season. In 2012 , after just four years, qualifying for the new Bavarian regional league celebrated the greatest success in the club's history. The best placement came in fourth place in the 2014/15 season .
