Thomas Nero Wolff
Thomas Nero Wolff (* 1962 in Berlin as Thomas Wolff ) is a German voice actor . He lends his distinctive voice as a German party voice to the actors Hugh Jackman , Woody Harrelson , Rhys Ifans , Kyle Chandler and Neil Flynn . In addition to working as a voice actor for films and series, Wolff also speaks radio plays and audio books.
Life
Wolff took the additional name Nero as his stage name, because he had a colleague at the time who was already called Thomas Wolff and who also lived in the same district. As the fees were often mixed up, he changed his name slightly. Thomas Nero Wolff used to own a few boutiques, and one of them was called Nero, hence the choice of that name.
From 2012 to 2014 he lent the character Thrawn his voice in the radio play adaptation of Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy . In the horror radio play series Foster by Oliver Döring , which started in spring 2016 , he has taken on the title role. Wolff also read Craig Lancaster's novel Der Sommersohn as an audio book exclusively for Audible . 2018 read by Nero Wolff appeared novelization of Solo: A Star Wars story in Hörverlag .
After the death of Arne Elsholtz , Wolff appeared on Tom Hanks in the feature film Inferno . In the run-up to that, he had often taken on Elsholtz's dubbing for smaller parts if he couldn't come to Berlin because of scheduling problems or if it wasn't worth it for a sentence.
Thomas Nero Wolff is married to the voice actress Ranja Bonalana .
