Cirrus uncinus (Ci unc)

Uncinus (abbreviation: unc , lat. " Hook -shaped" from uncus "hook") describes cirrus clouds that - unlike Cirrus fibratus - are hook-shaped or tuft-shaped and have no cumulus-like swellings. They often touch at a point from which they diverge more or less in the same direction. They are often in the form of a comma .
