West African national cricket team
The West African national cricket team was a cricket team that participated in international competitions between 1976 and 2003. She represented the states of Gambia , Ghana , Nigeria and Sierra Leone and was thus one of the "national teams" in which the players came from more than one state.

After the team failed twice, the next participation in the ICC Trophy took place in 1994 . In the preliminary round the team finished last, but was able to win the consolation round and finished 17th overall. Three years later the team finished penultimate in their preliminary group ahead of Argentina . In the consolation round the team managed to reach 18th place overall. Shortly before the 2001 event , the team was withdrawn due to refused visas and finally dissolved in 2003.
