The 0.102 - 0.205 AU habitable zone comes from feeding in the temperature and luminosity values for Wolf 1061 into the online habitable zone calculated. It is not magic undo Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit

  • curprev 04:5304:53, 15 March 201886.180.63.198 talk 12,559 bytes 0 →‎Planetary system: Using new updated temperature and luminosity figures for star, 3342 kelvin and 0.0102 bolometric luminosity. Habitable zone for 1 Earth mass, inner and outer edges, changes to 0.105 AU and 0.205 AU. Adjusting for a 5 super-Earth Mass planet, and the inner edge of the HZ (in the units of stellar fluxes) moves closer to the star by about +7%. So, 0.105/(1.07^0.5)=0.102 AU. Therefore approximately, 0.102 - 0.205 AU is the updated habitable zone. undo
