El Pais is the head newspaper company in the Pacific region of Colombia. Its headquarters are located in Cali, Colombia. The company started 55 years ago when a couple of brothers decided to create a little company which delivered paper to a couple of homes, but it transformed into a multimillion empire. The current owners of this growing corporation is the Prestigious Lloreda family, which happens to be one of the most influential families in all Cali, Colombia. The current director of the company is Francisco Jose Lloreda Mera who has a long history in Politics. Other important figures for the corporation are Maria Elvira Dominquez, Alfredo Dominquez, Felipe LLoreda, and one of the biggest chairmans, Alvaro Jose Lloreda.
