A law and journalism graduate, Delestrac made his debut in non-fiction filmmaking in 2001 and signed a number of hits including [[IMAX]] blockbuster "[[Mystery of the Nile]]" and “[[Pax Americana and the Weaponization of Space]]”, his first feature documentary. Selected in major international film festivals and acclaimed by the critics, the film reveals how space has become the newest arena for countries around the globe to launch their struggle for supremacy.
Delestrac currently resides in [[Barcelona]], Spain where he runs [[Intrepido Films]], a production company specialized in world class documentaries.

Denis Delestrac graduated from the [[Toulouse 1 University Capitole|Toulouse Law School]] and obtained a Master's degree in Journalism at the [[University of Dallas]]. Denis Delestrac is a French director and producer who is best known for creating feature-length investigative documentaries. His films focus on the ecological, social, and political impacts of natural resources. His film, Sand Wars, influenced the United Nations Environmental Program to write a report on sand scarcity in 2019.[1]

He has won over 40 international prizes and became a member of the European Film Academy in 2017.[2]

Denis Delestrac graduated from the Toulouse Law School and obtained a Master's degree in Journalism at the University of Dallas.
