Accident Hash
Accident Hash

Accident Hash is a major music podcast hosted and produced by C.C. Chapman. It is part of the PodShow group of music podcasts and has been featured on Sirius Satellite Radio's channel 102, Sirius Stars.

Hash serves as a showcase for podsafe music from various genres from around the world. Occasional interviews with indie artists such as Danko Jones, Matthew Ebel, and Kristia Di Gregorio have also been included. Chapman is known for his enthusiastic commentary - such as his popular catch phrase "It's all good!" - about the music, artists, and any other topics he finds noteworthy.

Chapman began producing Hash on January 10, 2005, making it one of the longest-running music podcasts in the world. Chapman's opening greeting of "Hey Home Fries!" has inspired many fans of the show to call themselves "home fries."

Behind the Scenes

Many of the song selections come from Podshow's Podsafe Music Network. However, Chapman also plays submissions sent directly from artists and record labels. One example of this is Rykodisc, who allowed Chapman to play tracks by the major band Waltham.

The theme song is performed by Madsumo.
