Hello, Persian Poet Gal. The image (:Image:Alien01.jpg) was found at the following location: User talk:Persian Poet Gal/Archive2. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. I found two possible sockpuppets of User:Danny Daniel

They are Choolabuuulba (talk · contribs) and Booooomerang (talk · contribs). Squirepants101 23:12, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

 • Unfortunately I cannot log on at the moment but I will examine the suspected socks when I have the chance. You can always post them on WP:ANI too, so another admin can get to it sooner.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:51, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I took your advice and put this issue at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#User:Choolabuuulba_and_User:Booooomerang._Sockpuppets_of_User:Danny_Daniel_and_User:Choolabuuula yesterday, but no admin has responded to it and Choolabuuulba still appears to be editing. Illustration request

Hey there Poet! I was roaming around Adrenal gland and noticed some problems with an image from http://training.seer.cancer.gov. Having seen your past work on Image:Nervous system diagram.png, I was wondering if you had any interest in redrawing it. Let me know if you're interested and I can send you some specifics. Cheers, David Iberri (talk) 13:51, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

 • Great to hear from you again Diberri! This week is slightly busy for me but I think I might be able to do something within the month of April or May. Since you are quite an expert with correcting the accuracy of these medical illustrations, I need to know what exactly may be some key things that need correction in a new image. One more thing I would suggest is to present an image change on the talk page and contact some of the editors of that article you know. That way if I do get around to constructing a new image, most people would agree with changing the one already posted on the article. Pleasure chatting with you!¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:50, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism perpetrated by User:Gary Kirk

Hi PPG, I am here to report that the aforementioned Gary Kirk has recently been making several peronal attacks against me, plus generally making a nuisance of himself (refs [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7] plus changing my userpage image from a photo taken by my dad to this). After the first of them, I said:

Hi Gary - I am disgusted that a vandal such as you (ref. [8]) is still prepared to get all self-righteous over cases like mine a few months back. Get off Wikipedia, we need fewer people like you. --Vox Humana 8' 13:40, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Replied on your talk page - please assume good faith and don't make personal attacks. Thanks. Gary Kirk [Talk] 12:26, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have also replied there. --Vox Humana 8' 17:29, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

After the most recent of these, I replied with the following:

Gary, I have tried to assume good faith here. However, your recent vandalism to my userpage ([9]) and the photograph thereon ([10]) has greatly reduced my trust in you. I shall appeal to have you blocked for a few weeks - hopefully, that will be enough to teach you a lesson about making personal attacks.--Vox Humana 8' 22:14, 28 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Meanwhile, a few months back, he criticised your unblocking of me in the following manner:

Hello PPG. I would like to know the reasoning behind your recent unblocking of EccentricRichard. As you can see from his contribs, he was extremely disruptive, did not let policy get in the way of his edits, and generally was not a good editor. I question whether your unblocking was appropriate, straight after Yamla declined his request. Richard has in the past said he will do things and went on not to honour this. With the sockpuppetry too, I feel an indef block is necessary. Thanks — Gary Kirk // talk! 16:00, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

This all seems very strange. His contributions show many recent constructive edits - he attributes the problems to having his account hacked or somesuch excuse, but, to be entirely honest, I don't know whether or not to believe him. I certainly think that it would be a good idea to block him until Monday so that he can take time to stop hackers accessing his account. However, I have to assume good faith, so it may be that I'm being harsh to him in saying that. I'd like to see what he has to say on the subject.--Vox Humana 8' 23:21, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I still await a reply, these twenty-three days on. I am not impressed.--Vox Humana 8' 14:44, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree he should be blocked. Blocks are not punitive, and are used solely for the purpose of protecting Wikipedia from further attacks. In this case, as Gary has made several very constructive contribution since the attacks, this no longer applies. I advice you to assume good faith and accept the fact that perhaps it really wasn't him. Thanks. Michaelas10 10:09, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cat_anatomy_diagram suggestions

In your otherwise lovely diagram on the Cat page :

 • The Urethra label points to the small intestine, instead of the tan tube exiting the bladder. A dot at the end of the arrow is useful for diagram labels.
 • The labels are blurry in the main article thumbnail. Can you enlarge the font? WP serves the whole image for the browser to scale, and browsers (esp. Opera) blur text in images when shrinking them.
If you don't have the original file anymore, nevermind.

stumbling around the archives

Hi! Im not around much here, coz I have little time & no internet @ home. But I finally managed 2 find the discussion on my username in the archives (I was ready 2 give up n just leave). Heres my contribution to the discussion (feel free 2 share w other moderators) :) I realize a lot of people get a heartburn when they hear the term "redneck", because in its original sense, these people are said to be ignorant racists, but I have met many people who the term applies to in all its facets (poor, patriotic, whatever else is given as a "symptom") & neither the ignorant nor the racist label applies. Then, there is the redneck as defined by comedian Jeff Foxworthy, calling himself a redneck & having fun w it ( foxworthian definition of redneck: A Glorious Absence of Sophistication)and the "symptoms" described by Mr.Foxworthy apply to far more people than in the "original" definition, hence the redneck part of my nickname. As to the Mormon part of my name, I happen to be LDS (engaged 2 a baptist calling himself a redneck!) I have found it is often impossible to educate people to stop using the name "Mormon" when referring to members of our church and call us by our proper name, which is, admitting, a tad long, but correct, namely The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, or LDS, so I simply try n make the best of it. If u cant convince them, ignore them. I myself, however, do not walk around calling catholics "catlicks" (as a lot of Irish I know do), because they wont like that, even if THEY call me mormon, which I dont like either. Hope I could bring along some understanding as to why I chose what I have. I wish u a very nice weel ahead & a wonderful weekend! Redneckmormon 15:47, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Redneckmormon :) PS: a a child I had red hair n a lot of sunburns, especially on my neck from playing in the sandbox, but that just btw. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Redneckmormon (talkcontribs) 15:43, 15 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]
