Tuberculosis case

On May 31, 2007, Speaker was moved from an Atlanta hospital to National Jewish Hospital in Denver, Colorado for further treatment. [2]

It was reported that Speaker's father-in-law Robert C. Cooksey, works for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is a microbiologist who has conducted research on tuberculosis, according to his CDC biography posted on the agency's Web site. [3] Andrew Speaker and his wife Sarah Cooksey (who is a third year law student at Emory University) were wed in Greece and Honeymooned in the Greek Islands.

On 30 May 2007, according a caller (alledgedly a friend of Speaker) to the "Neal Boortz Radio Show", Mr. Speaker contacted TB while on a trip to Vietnam.
