City Clipper is a bus company in Southampton. It is an independent company which started operations on 23 April 2007 from its operations base at Basepoint Business centre in the Chapel area of the city. They operate two circular routes that almost approximately outline the city centre. Service C1 operates clockwise, with C2 operating the same route in reverse. The service is operated solely by five Plaxton Primos and at present 10 drivers.

The City Clipper route competes in some areas with the City Loop service, currently operated by A2B Express Travel, which began in 2001 and also the Uni-link City-Link service, both of which operate as a free service[1]. City Clipper is an expansion of the basic City Loop service and links Southampton Central station, West Quay, Ocean Village Town Quay and St Mary's Stadium, Unlike the City Loop or City-Link passengers are required to pay a small fixed fare.
