Born in 1925, Stanley Chapman is an English architect, designer, translator and writer. His intrests include theater and Pataphysics, he was involved with founding the National Theatre of London, is (was?) a member of Oulipo of the year 1960. He is a member also of the French Collège de 'Pataphysique, L.I.P. (London Institut of Pataphysics) and the Lewis Carroll Society.
