Comodo Firewall Pro is a freeware firewall that provides protection on a Microsoft Windows operating system from both inbound and outbound attacks. While on an independent survey comprised of Outbound Application Filtering Tests and Leak Tests, v1.0.005 gained only a medium score,[1] on another thoroughly, independent review based on Leak Tests, Comodo Firewall Pro v2.4.18.184 was rated amongst the best Windows Personal Firewalls with the highest score.[2] Version 3.0, currently in beta stage, includes HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System) technology, to protect a computer from unknown attacks.

Windows Vista 32 bit and 64 bit compatibility will be added in the next version of Comodo Firewall Pro (version 3.0), now in beta development stage. Comodo Firewall Pro 3.0.8.214 Beta, released on 23rd August 2007, is available for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows XP/Vista.
CFP 3.0 will 'not support' Windows 2000 but only Windows XP and above.
