Club history

Brislington was founded in 1956 and began playing in the Bristol Church of England League. By 1965, the club had reached the senior division of the Bristol and Suburban Association Football League. In the 1970's, Brislington moved up to the Somerset County League, eventually winning the Premier Division title in 1988-89. Two years later, the club was accepted into the Western League and within four years advanced to the Premier Division, where they have remained. Brislington reached the 4th round of the FA Vase in 2004-05, losing to Enfield.
