Palm Beach Currumbin High School (PBC) is a state school located Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

PBC hosts many students from other countries such as Germany, Italy and even Great Britain. Whatever sports you are into PBC has it. Whether its soccer, hockey, rowing, rugby and even most famously surfing.

The Athletics at the school is one of the major successes in PBC. 25 years ago the athletics was formed by a persistent teacher who turned up at Rugby League matches, Soccer matches and any other sporting event and selecting a few players to compete in the Athletics. The students were also given an ultimatum, compete in the Athletics or don't play sport at PBC again. 24 out of the 25 years, PBC has won the athletics main prize, dominating the competition. Last year, however, things changed when Marymount High School took the trophy. 2007 was engulfed with revenge to win the trophy back. Not only was it won back but PBC beat the closest school (Marymount) by a whopping 800 points and collected all four of the trophies on offer.

PBC is one of the schools that compete in the Queensland Schoolboys Rugby League Cup, which is made up schools from all over Queensland. PBC's main rival is Keebra Park High School.

PBC is known not only for it's amazing sporting prowess but also for it's academic ability. Over the last few years Bond University have been awarding scholarships and in 2005 only two were handed out, both went to students of PBC.

Despite the school's sporting excellence, it has been apart of a number of high profiled media reports involving students taking drugs and recently in 2005, the deaths of two students in a tragic car accident.
