Jimmy Liddell was a Hong Kong First Division League player for the HK Rangers FC as goalkeeper between 1973 to 1976. The team of the 1974/75 season was arguably the best team in Rangers history, winning the Viceroy Cup and Senior Shield in that season. Players in that team included Willie Henderson, Kwok Ka Ming, Lai Wing Fu, Chung Kai Ming, Alex Willoughby, Tang Hung Cheung, and Wong Chin Kin.
