Black River is a river in the U.S. state of Michigan, flowing into the St. Clair River at 42°58′19″N 82°25′06″W / 42.97194°N 82.41833°W / 42.97194; -82.41833 in the city of Port Huron. The Black River Canal in northern Port Hurn cuts off the lower portion of the river.

The river rises in northern Sanilac County and its drainage basin covers most of the central and southern portions of the Sanilac County, most of northern St. Clair County, and a small area of east central Lapeer County. Large sections of the upper portion of the river and much of its drainage basin are heavily channelized for agricultural irrigation.
