Edvarda Aslaksen Braanaas (born 11 December 1963) is a Norwegian artist currently living and working in Oslo, Norway.

She was recognized in 2006 on the Norwegian art scene, as a front figure for revitalizing figurative painting in her contemporary renaissance fashion, that have become part of her trademark.

Edvarda started her artistic training in Venice, Italy in 1983. In 1986 she attended Oslo national academy of the arts in Norway followed by studies in art-history at Oslo University, Faculty of humanities.
