Steve Jones, known as Junna, was a Wales rugby union international. A hooker, he made hundreds of appearances for Newport RFC and Pontypool RFC in the 1980s, often in partnership with Staff Jones at Pontypool. Steve learnt his rugby under the tutilage of Laurie Daniel who himself was a former Welsh international who played for Pontypool and Newport.

He later turned to coaching.
