Omar Fayad Meneses is a Mexican politician of Lebanese origin and member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party. He is currently serving as municipal president of Pachuca, Hidalgo.
Fayad was elected for the LVIII Legislature of the Federal Congress for the term 2000-2003 and as municipal president for the 2006-2009 term.
He is married to actress Victoria Ruffo with whom he has two children.
He was also attacked by police officers in Miami when he was accompanied by his wife, Victoria Ruffo, when she was going to present an award for "Premios Billboard 2008".
