Creeper

The word creeper can refer to:

• A style of gothic/punk flat platform shoes and sometimes boots about 2 inches high
• several types of vines, particularly to species in the genus Parthenocissus
• A tool used by Auto mechanics, a low-profile, wheeled platform whereupon one may lie on their back and gain better access to the underbody of a vehicle
• A creepy person
• Some birds of the families Certhiidae treecreepers, the Climacteridae Australasian Treecreepers, the Rhabdornithidae Philippine creepers, as well as the Brown Creeper of New Zealand
• Creeper (clothing for infants), a one-piece article of clothing worn by an infant, usually with snap openings in the crotch to facilitate the changing of diapers
• A type of shoe known as Brothel creeper
• Creeper (band), the fictional hard rock band from a 2001 Canadian movie FUBAR
• Virginia Creeper (railroad), a mountain railroad
• Creepers, mechanical monsters in the Shannara fantasy novels

• "The Hoxton Creeper" in the Sherlock Holmes film, The Pearl of Death (1944) played by Rondo Hatton, or his role as "The Creeper" in House of Horrors (1946).
