Paulo Gomes, fullname Paulo Jorge Sousa Gomes (born March 4, 1975 in Viseu), is a Portuguese football defensive midfielder, currently playing with Cypriot First Division's Atromitos Yeroskipou.
During his Portuguese career, Gomes represented CD Tondela, Académico de Viseu, Associação Desportiva de Lousada, Vitória de Guimarães, Sporting Clube de Braga, União Desportiva de Leiria, F.C. Paços de Ferreira and F.C. Penafiel.
He made his first division debut for Guimarães, against S.C. Salgueiros in a 3-2 loss, on 12 September 1998. Coach Zoran Filipovic handed him his first chance.
