Atromitos Yeroskipou

Atromitos Yeroskipou ( Greek Ατρόμητος Γεροσκήπου ) is a Cypriot football club that will play in the third division in Cyprus from the 2012/13 season .

history

The club was founded in 1957 in the town of Yeroskipou in the Paphos district and played exclusively in the local Paphos league for several decades, before reaching the First Division in just a few years .

March through to the First Division

In 2004, for the first time in the club's history, they were promoted to the Fourth Division of the Cyprus Football Association . In the following year 2005, the success could be repeated with promotion to the third division . After another promotion to the Second Division in 2007, they finished third in the 2008 final table, which was equivalent to promotion to the top division in the country, the First Division .

Current

After only one year of membership in the top division, Atromitos rose in the 2008/09 season as bottom of the table with just one win in 26 games directly back to the second division. After two seasons in midfield of the Second Division , the club only occupied 14th and last place in the table in the 2011/12 season and had to relegate back to the Third Division .
