Kim Bong-hwan (born July 4, 1939 ) is a former North Korean football player . With the national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , he took part in the 1966 World Cup in England ; here Kim Bong-hwan with the shirt number "17" played the group game against Italy - against the Soviet Union , Chile (each group stage) and Portugal (quarter-finals) Kim Bong-hwan was not used. In 1966 he was under contract with Kikwancha Pyongyang . The 167 centimeter tall attacker was not used in other games listed by FIFA .

Kim Bong-hwan did not appear in the documentary The Game of Their Lives in October 2002 .
