Rick Mercer's Monday Report is a Canadian television comedy series. Begun in 2004 and hosted by comedian Rick Mercer, the weekly half-hour show focuses on Canadian politics, combining news parody, sketch comedy and satirical editorials. The show's format is essentially a cross between The Daily Show and Mercer's prior series, This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

On each program Mercer travels to a different part of Canada, often to communities that are currently in the news, collecting opinions, reactions, and quotes from people on the street. There he also does his "streeters", the rants about current issues that he popularized on This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

Also there is a segment where regular correspondent Daryn Jones goes out and checks cool things out and west coast correspondent Jordan Kawchuk checks what's really happening in the west coast of Canada.

In the other parts of each show, Canadian politics and comedy come together as Mercer does his monologue in front of a live audience in Toronto, Ontario in Canada.

Monday Report is produced by Island Edge Inc and the CBC and airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
