Portnancon is a small remote crofting township, and former, now disused fishing station, on the west shore of the sea loch, Loch Eriboll in Sutherland, Scottish Highlands and is in the Scottish council area of Highland. The village of Durness lies 8 miles along the A838 road to the west. The village of Laid is located 1 mile southwest from Portnancon along the A838 road.
