Dayanara Torres (born 1975) is a Puerto Rican celebrity. She was chosen the 1993 Miss Universe in Mexico City.

Torres was born in Toa Baja.

Torres' Miss Universe election caused some controversy because it was claimed she was still a minor. However, it is claimed that Torres turned 18 several months before the contest. After being Miss Universe, she spent time in the Philippines where she became a well-known actress and singer.
