Henrik Åström (born 11 January 1980) is a Swedish composer and music producer. He is the son of the Swedish archaeologist Paul Åström and owner of the record label and publishing company A-Stream Productions since 2002.

Theatre and film

Åström has written and performed music for the Butoh dancer and choreographer Frauke[1]. He composed the music and created the sound design for her theatre work Ama-No-Gawa that was performed at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa, in 2010. Åström also composed the music for Frauke's solo dance performance Endangered that was performed in 2012 at Atalante in Gothenburg. Åström's most recent film work was his score for the motion picture Jake and Jasper – A Ferret Tale[2], starring Blu Mankuma and Connor Stanhope, in 2011.

Studio

Åström runs a recording studio at Sankt Eriksplan in Stockholm called A-Stream Studio. At this studio location he has worked with artists such as Miss Li[3], Oh Laura, Erik Grönwall, Titiyo, Thomas Denver Jonsson, Annis Brander and Zooparty. Zooparty was co-produced by the former Sex Pistols member Glen Matlock.
