The North African gerbil (Dipodillus campestris) is a species of rodent in the family Muridae. It is found in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Sudan, Tunisia, and possibly Chad and Mauritania. Its natural habitats are rocky areas, hot deserts, and arable land. IUCN lists Gerbillus quadrimaculatus, a synonym of D. campestris, as critically endangered.
