With extended playing time at 1st base, Adrian Gonzalez continued to improve his hitting, and showed flashes of gold glove caliber defense at first base. After the all-star break in 2006 Gonzalez became a major threat in the Padres line-up, and he became the first player in Petco Park history to have more than one multiple home run game. |
