Trapped Under Ice is an American hardcore punk band from Baltimore, Maryland that was formed in 2007.[1] Since then they have released an EP and two full length albums. Taking influence from New York Hardcore, the band has toured all over the world and is currently signed to Reaper Records.[2] On Sunday August 11, 2013 Trapped Under Ice played their last show at Philadelphia's The Electric Factory at This Is Hardcore Festival 2013. The band is currently on a two year hiatus.
Controversy
At a stop on their Europe "Rebellion" tour in 2011, a fan stage dove on top of frontman Justice Tripp. In return, Justice jumped into the audience and began fighting the fan who had fallen on him. The fan hit Justice back, which ensued to another member of the band joining the fight. Unfortunately, the fan was left with a broken jaw from the fight. [3]
