Mentha dahurica is known by the common name of Dahurian Thyme.[1] It is a mint species within the genus Mentha, native to Siberia, the Russian Far East, Japan, and northeastern China.[2][3]

The epithet honors the Daur people of Inner Mongolia.[4][5]
