Eucalyptus nigrifunda, commonly known as desert wandoo, is a tree that is native to a small area in central Western Australia.[1]

The tree typically grows to a height of 5 to 7 metres (16 to 23 ft) with rough bark that is black on the trunk.

It is found on breakaways of decomposing granite in a small area in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia to the north east of Kalgoorlie where it grows in sandy-clay soils.[1]
